The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has awarded a Transportation Enhancement Program Grant for the US 41 Street Lighting Enhancement Project in the town of Rockville. The amount of the grant is $274,762. There is a 20% local match requirement to show strong local commitment to the project.
The grant will help purchase and install 67 historic lights. 5 of the historic lights have already been installed south of Howard Avenue to demonstrate what US 41 will look like when the project is completed. |
